Kota's 1st...

Kota had his first hair cut.

He had rubbed off most of the long hair except for the long part on the very top of his head. I thought it looked pretty funny so I decided that it was time for the chop chop. I put it in a ponytail so I could save what I cut off. He looked like a girl so Aaron didn't want me to post those pictures.

Kota got his first savings account.

They let them spin the wheel and get a prize he had some help from Aaron. He got a football.

Kota's first trip to see Santa.

When we took him to open his first savings account they had Santa there. He didn't great. I suspect that next year will be a little more interesting for the little guy.

Here is Kota and Kael with Santa for the first time. They are both so adorable.

Kota rolling over for the first time.
It is so funny to watch how in a matter of weeks he goes from it taking awhile to roll over to pushing off and rolling over so fast. It is so fun to watch him do all of his 1st.

How big is my mouth??

Kota's loves to suck on his hands, so you would think that he'd like to suck on a binky but no. He'll suck on his arm, hand, my hand or arm. Here are some cute pictures of what he does.

I like his form.

End result from sucking.

Trip to the Dino Museum

We went to Utah this weekend for Mollie's baptism but I didn't take any pictures of that but she looked beautiful. We did go to the Xango museum. It was so fun. Aaron was really glad that we took the girls (Mollie & Hana) so that he could do all the fun hand on things that are for children. This is the dinosaur that they created.

Hana said she was tired of walking so we gave her Kota's seat since he was lighter to carry.

A little bit of laughter

Kota was laughing really hard before the video but by the time we took this we weren't sure if he liked it or not. It is really cute though so it deserved to be posted.

Getting Our Tree

On Monday we went And got our tree, We went to the same place we went to last year but I could not believe how hard the hike up the mountain was. I'll blame it on having baby.

I don't really no what made Aaron want to hold the tree like this but if you know Aaron it really isn't that out of character.

Kota's 1st Thanksgiving

We are horrible about taking pictures. I really should have gotten some throughout the day but I totally forgot. So here's what I have. This was the best out of the bunch.
We did have a great thanksgiving. We spent it with the Miyasaki side. The food of corse was good. We also spent times with Kota's cousins that can't get enough of him. We left Kota with Grandma and Grandpa and the rest of us went to watch Bolt. It was a good show.
Anyways I better get going I have more post to put on here.

He's 3 months old...

I can't believe how fast he grows up. He is getting so big but he has slowed down. Thank goodness because I am sad that I am having to put clothes in boxes already.
Here is his 3 month old picture in his 12 month old shirt.

It's been awhile...

We haven't been up to much lately but here's a few cute pictures that we have taken. Kota woke up every 2 hours last night so as soon as Aaron left I just let him take over his spot. He's so cute when he sleeps. He looks so much older than 3 months.

Aaron played with Kota until he conked out on Sunday. Aaron even got Kota to laugh for his first time. It is so crazy how they change and grow so fast.

Ellis and Connie gave us this outfit. It is adorable on him.

Kota loves to play with his dad. He is so stiff all the time that he stays straight as a board when you hold him in the air. He loves to fly.

Taking a Stroll

I'm trying to take in as many days that I can before the snow comes down. It's nice to have Liz come over and join us.
I don't think he enjoys being all wrapped up but he just looks so dang cute.
If you can't tell it was a little cold but once we started to walk it felt pretty good.
After we stopped at Grandma June's and of course we had to take picture of the 2 of them. These are the only 2 that we got that they both were looking at the camera. Thank goodness for digital cameras so that we can make sure we get a good one.

Little Farmer

I was so excited that he could fit in this shirt. Even if he is only 2 months and wearing a 3-6 month outfit. It is so cute.

He Getting so Big

We went over to Grandma Sheppard's for a visit and she needed to adjust the the jumper so we thought that we would try it out. His feet could touch and it almost made me cry to see how he could hold his head up and just sit there. It's hard to see him grow up sometimes. I just have to remind myself to take in what he is doing now instead of what he isn't doing. It won't be to long before he actually figures out what the jumper is for.

Kota's Favorite Time of Day

Kota loves bathtime. As soon has he was able to be placed in the water it liked it. Aaron gives him a bath every night. It's great for me to get at least 20 minuets to myself. I usually end up in the bathroom with them cause it is so cute to watch Kota kick and splash all over the place.
We tried to get a video but he was kicking so much that we couldn't keep the wash cloth covering the goods so we decided we shouldn't post it.

Kota's Favorite song

Kota loves the tiny turtle song. I think Aaron likes it too. He is always singing it to Kota and he always gets a smile. It's pretty cute to watch the 2 of them but I walk around with that song in my head all day long. I just hope Aaron learns a new song to sing to him soon.

Riding with Dad

Aaron was in the feild right behind our house so we decided that it was time for his first tractor ride. Kota just acted like it was another day. Nothing to exciting to him. I know next year we won't be able to get him off the tractor with dad.

This is about all he did other than trying to go to sleep.

Aaron couldn't be happier to have his little man on the tractor with him.

Kota's Blessing

I can't believe that this day has come and gone. Kota was so handsome in his suit. There are more pictures of him in his suit from another day. I was planning on getting more pictures after church but we sent him home with the family while I taught my class and when we got home he was already in his sweats. I just couldn't bring my self to change him back into the outfit since it doesn't really stretch. I'm sure he appreciated it too.

Hana finally held Kota. The first day she met him she had a little bit of a territorial issue. She did not like her mom holding her cousin. So it only took 3 days but she finally decided that she could hold him. I think she decided that he wasn't that big of a threat.

Kota and Grandma Sheppard. We went over later that night and he was just so happy. He can melt anyone with that smile. It really makes it more rewarding when you get some sort of thanks.

He's been getting more cuddly. He use to just always want to try and hold his head up as far away from you as he could so he could look around. Lately he will actually lie his head down and just chill. I like that a lot better cause his head is still to wobbly to be moving all over the place.

Halloween

Kota's first Halloween as our little monkey.

Kael and Kota all dressed up together.

Kota made a great monkey. It sure makes Halloween fun to have a little guy to dress up. This was also the first time that Kota met his cousins Mollie and Hana. He didn't even mind Mollie's makeup. He also didn't mind going around trick-or-treating with his cousins even though he stayed in the stroller and slept.
